Rappan Athuk Reloaded
Crusader Captain Vanreim offered the following:
- Find more entries in the Journal of Cyrric. Each is worth 500 gp.
- Your reputation seems to be growing and some in town have asked for your help. Xerbas, an animal tamer ranger, wishes for you to capture mega-fauna (animals only please, no intelligent monsters) north of Rappan Athuk and bring back to town alive. He intends to train the beasts for war in the World Wound. 500-3000 depending on specimen.
- UPDATE: Arkandor has been asking about progress. Apparently, his cargo may have been more valuable than what he first described. As befits a ship for Nemedia, there were experimental clockwork war engines on board. Find and bring a map of the Nemedian merchant, Arkandor’s, ship the “Shining Gear”, reportedly taken by a dragon. 1500 gp.
- UPDATE: Najak and the Marrow Reavers were spotted just north of town. One of them wore Braimen’s banner as a head scarf. They ruthlessly killed three members of a patrol. There are two reports of the mercenary band, the Marrow Reavers, lead by the gnoll Najak. What they are doing so far north of Katapesh I don’t know, but it’s nothing we want. Bring me their heads if they are here. 5000 gp.
# Explore and document the levels of the dungeon (Levels 1,2 documented). Each level is 500 gp.
# Locate the fate of the crusader Braimen’s party of paladins. Bring him or his banner back. 2000 gp.
# Magic weapons, armor and items are always needed near the “front.” Bring them to me and I’ll get you a fair price as well as coordinate other items you may want.
# Capture or kill Horace and his band of renegade low templars. 500 gp.
# Destroy the undead hordes on the northern road. 1000 gp.
# Return with the ogre, Vorlak’s, head. 500 gp.
# Destroy trolls when you find them. 2000 gp.
# Validate the presence of a cult of Orcus. 500 gp.
